Seven times British Ladies Champion, Becky Cook has confirmed that she will be joining Top Trial Team in 2012 aboard a Beta machine having recently signed a contract with the Italian based team.
Cook will ride the FIM Women Trial World Championship, UEM Women European Trial Championship, Italian Championship, British Ladies Championship and selected British Championship rounds and National trials.
Top Trial Team is an established and well respected World Trial Team and have won many World and European titles. Having finished runner up no less than three times in the Womens World Championship, Cook will really be pushing for that elusive title to add to Top Trial Team’s collection.
In the UK, Cook will ride for John Lampkin Beta UK with long term sponsors BVM Moto, Wightlink Ferries and Saunders Extreme Sports continuing their support. As well as competing, Cook will take on a new role assisting fellow team rider and Italian Champion Sara Trentini. She will be spending time in Italy training with Trentini and passing on her experience and knowledge to help her achieve her potential.
Cook commented about the new deal; “I am delighted to have signed with Top Trial Team, their record says it all, they are the home of Champions! This new deal will enable me to spend more time on the bike both here and in Italy. Having the chance to train with Jack Challoner and the rest of the team will help me no end and I'm sure I can repay their faith with a World Title!” “I am also really looking forward to this new challenge and working with Sara. I spent several weeks at the end of this season with her coaching and minding for her in the Italian Championship and we have become good friends so I am really keen to help her reach the top”
