Pete has ridden Fantic Trial bikes since the age of ten, his first Fantic being a Silver Framed 1978 Trial 125 model, Following on from this a 1983 Trial 200 with moulded seat and 240 front end set up, In 1984 he switched to a Trial 240 and stayed on this machine for a full season until switching to a Trial 301 when it all went monoshock! He began restoring Fantic Twinshock Trials models in 1988 when both bikes and parts were still in very good supply. Since this time he has restored some twenty Fantics!... images to follow.

Hans Jørn Beck contacted us to see if we could get any further information on the machine pictured, this was taken in 1990 with a later owner. Information we know is...

Factorybike/preproduction of the Fantic. It was handed over to one of the best Danish drivers at the time, Peter Falk, In Bergamo maybe more than 6 months before the 200 was released to the public.
The bike Is quite special. It looks like the old 125. But with the following differencies. Red frame. Same fork as 125 but with a thicker axle. And bigger front hub. Same tank as later 200. Same gearbox as 125. But 156 cc. Cylinder. Handbuilt Aluminium Ignition cover.
