Merthyr Club Trial, 27th June
Merthyr Motor Club held a round of their Club Championship at Glyn Mil Farm Merthyr on what was a very warm and sunny Sunday, with an entry of 40 riders Andrew Estebanez and his team marked out a challenging course for all abilities.
Youth rider Jake Evans-Luter once again took the honours of the overall trial finishing on just 7 marks and these all being lost on section 4. Lloyd Price took the win on the Adult Expert route showing he still hadn’t lost his touch, while Jarred Stanfield took the win on the Clubman route, considering he has been out of the sport for the past 18 months he showed he still had a few tricks up his sleeve.
Francis Walters once again took the honours on the Sportsman route but was closely followed by Huw Greenaway. Well done to all the youth riders who had a go at all the sections even though they didn’t quite get through them all.
Merthyr Motor Club would like to thank everyone who attended, observed and helped with the marking out of the event. Big thank you also to the land owner.
